The Mark

An Upper East Side establishment popular with royalty (the penthouse is where the Duchess of Sussex’s baby shower took place), the Mark has a striped parquet lobby, a dark and decadent Jean-Georges outpost, and views of Manhattan’s most prestigious rooftops from its guestrooms. The monogrammed slippers are almost stylish enough to be worn in public, and other turndown treats include edible confections from a Madison Avenue bakery. In summer, guests can charter the hotel yacht to cruise around the harbour.
