Hassler Rome

With one of the best locations in Rome, Hassler is by default one of the finest places to stay in the city. But it doesn’t stop there – the historic hotel, at the top of the Spanish Steps, has a Michelin-starred restaurant, Rossano Ferretti salon and old-fashioned glamour in the form of antiques, wood-panelling and marble floors. It’s so good, even the owner clearly can’t get enough (he’s the general manager). The ultimate suite, predictably, is the penthouse, which has incredible views of Rome (also visible, with aperitivo, on the seventh-floor terrace).
