Adding a little Eastern flavour to Miami Beach, The Setai is formed in part from bricks shipped over from Shanghai and other Oriental nods: mythical Chinese creatures on each corner of the palm-lined courtyard pool and recurring Buddhas. The art deco building on South Beach is also home to Jaya, a restaurant that serves up every kind of Asian food, including Vietnamese, Indian and Thai. Down on the deck by the beach, shade-seekers can enjoy pizzas, tuna tartare and delicacies cooked on a wood-fire grill.
