Hotel Casa Fuster

Built in 1908 and fully renovated in 2004, it was born from the renovation of the emblematic Modernist building known as “Casa Fuster”, designed by the famous Catalan architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner, whose Modernist works have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. It can be defined as the most emblematic designer hotel, quite simply because it is. The “casa” was a gift from the Senor Fuster to his wife, with the underlying intention to make the city of Barcelona more beautiful. It was the posthumous work of the architect that completed the building which at that time, was considered the most expensive house in the Catalan capital, due to the high quality materials such as marble that were used in its construction. This iconic, Modernist building is located at the head of Barcelona’s chic Passeig de Gracia Avenue. It has a sauna and gym, and a roof terrace with a pool and excellent views. The luxurious Casa Fuster is a monument in itself, built in 1908 by the Modernist architect, Lluis Domenech i Montaner, and has the status of Specialty Monument. His work, including the hotel, is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
