Olissippo Lapa Palace

Set atop one of Lisbon’s seven hills, Olissippo Lapa Palace began life as a 19th-century private residence and still carries that sense of occasion. Rooms and suites sit across the Palace and Garden wings, each individually styled, with Portuguese fabrics and furnishings giving the newer wing its own character. Outside, subtropical gardens frame sweeping views over the Tagus River, while Mediterranean dining, a spa, and heated indoor and outdoor pools make it very easy to stay put.
