The Chedi Muscat

The palm-lined paradise that is the Chedi Muscat was one of the region’s first design hotels when it opened in 2003, and not just because of the symmetrical planting of all 400 of its tall trees. There’s a 370-metre private beach, six restaurants (including one on the shore) and two lounges, and its fire-pit-lined pool, at 103 metres, is the longest in Arabia. Breakfast is an elaborate experience featuring multiple stations – be sure to schedule enough hours.
