Hotel Grande Bretagne, A Luxury Collection Hotel

Overlooking the Acropolis and with similarly grand proportions (and columns) of its own, Hotel Grande Bretagne has been presiding over Syntagma Square since 1874. The penthouse has a private pool with a view of the Acropolis all of its own – and more glimpses of the world’s most famous ancient citadel await up at the open-air GB Roof Garden, where the Mediterranean food is delicious (though with a setting this good, they really needn’t have bothered).
