Hotel Du Castellet
Le Castellet, France
The writer and film director Marcel Pagnol filmed one of his masterpieces - "The Baker's Wife" - in the ancient village of Castellet. It is also home to one of the region's most charming properties. From the top of its ochre facade, the Hotel du Castellet combines hacienda, Italian palace, and small Provence bastide influences. With its patina furniture and fountains, its bedrooms adorned in hues of honey, lavender, or grape, and its infinity pool, this residence has it all. After a sun-kissed game of tennis, a spa treatment, or a trip to the Paul Ricard car-racing track, enjoy the chill of a great rose de Provence under the pine trees.
